Design Agency
A single page site in React and TypeScript on Vite. A Three.js particle hero, GSAP motion throughout, Lenis for smooth scrolling, and full English and Greek localisation through i18next. Booking runs on an embedded Cal.com calendar, product analytics on PostHog, images on a Cloudflare R2 CDN.
An agency site has to prove the agency can build. Anything generic quietly undercuts the pitch. So the brief was to show off motion and 3D work without shipping the kind of heavy, stuttering page that loses a client somewhere around the second scroll.
The 3D hero checks the browser's hardware hints once at startup and picks a tier. A capable desktop keeps the full 1,200 particle field with mouse repulsion at 1.5x pixel ratio. Anything reporting four cores or less, or 4GB of memory or less, drops to 400 drift only particles at 1x. The same flag goes on the html element so CSS can stop painting the viewport wide backdrop blur. Old desktops get caught by this too, which a pointer media query would have missed entirely.
Every string lives in i18next across English and Greek, with language detection on first visit. Images are pre optimised into responsive WebP sets by Sharp and served from R2.
